Fluorescence spectroscopy applies to those who can emit fluorescence or could generate fluorescent complex with other reagents. Compared with absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy has higher sensitivity and better selectivity. But its application range is not as wide as absorption spectroscopy.
